Tanak leaves Hyundai for 2023

Ott Tanäk has decided to leave Hyundai for the 2023 season onwards. Tanäk a regular competitor for a rally victory in the 2022 season and 2019 world champion has decided after rally Japan next month that he will no longer be part of the south-Korean team.

Tanäk has been part of the team since 2020 he got off to a rough start at the team however crashing very heavily on SS3 of the Monte-Carlo rally in January 2020. Tanäk is believed to be making his move back to the team he started his career with Ford. Ford have been the go to for privateers ,up to 5 cars a rally for many people such as Jourdan serdiredes and Lorenzo Bertelli. Tanäk won't be in any privateer entry though he'll be fighting for multiple wins just like he achieved at Hyundai.
